RAT:
We want to spend most of our time catching students being good. Renaissance is here to recognize the good things, reward students for doing them, thereby reinforcing those habits.
YOU CAN HELP - Renaissance depends on outside funding to exist. We are always looking for donors and supporters. Grants and donations are our first line of resources, but the community and businesses have come forth with great donations of goods and services as well. We’re off the ground and running with great success thus far, but in order to keep up with ourselves, we must seek help from the businesses and community members. Donations are fully tax deductible. If you are interested in making a donation or have an idea for a fundraiser, please contact advisor Cori Krick

People's Choice Awards 2008
On Wednesday, Feb. 20th, the fantastic annual People's Choice Awards was held. The ceremony honored 70 students nominated by AHS staff. Here are some pictures from the night; more can be viewed by clicking here. Congratulations to all honorees!
Ongoing Actions:
Platinum Cards: given to students who are participating in a school club, sport, etc., and have a semester gpa of 3.25 or above and has had no discipline problems. (Freshmen will be eligible after the 1st semester grades are available in January)

Safeway card registration for our RAT program. If you fill out a registration form with your Safeway Club card number, RAT will receive money back on your purchases. (you will NOT receive any solicitations, emails, etc. if you give the card number). Need a form? - please call the main office or Ms. Krick at 538-2040 - the general public can do this, too!

Fishing Derby: Congratulations to Randy Connelly for winning the 1st annual Renaissance Fishing Derby. His 30# king earned him and a guest a guided trip on his choice of Humptulips, Queets, or Wynoochee rivers. Thanks for supporting Renaissance!
