STUDENTS – if you know you are not planning to return to AHS next year, please see Mrs. Lonborg in the Guidance Center.

 

The annual Kurt Cobain Scholarship is coming up.  Your artwork, two letters of recommendation, transcript, and artist’s statement are due on May 19 for judging.  If you are a graduating senior, and want your work to be considered for this scholarship, contact either Ms. Day Waters or Mrs. Houk in the art department for more information.

 

There will be a WRESTLING meeting,  TODAY,  May 8th, during Advisory in the Commons.

 

There will be an FFA chapter meeting, TODAY, during Advisory in Mr. Machowek’s room #306.

 

Job Corps representative will be on campus this  morning for orientation. Learn how to earn your diploma or GED, get a drivers license and be paid while training for variety of certified programs. Get away, Job Corps Campuses are located all over the United States.  Please sign up in the Career Center - space is limited.  You must be 16 yrs old.

 

BOBCAT PRIDE will meet Friday, room 241 to collect paperwork and finalize the trip.

 

FBLA will have a meeting Friday during advisory - for those doing the car wash.

 

ASB elections are next week.  Packets have been made up for students who would like to run for an office, see Mrs. Paris in room 316, for a packet and to be sure you understand the rules. 

 

Mother’s day – Sunday May 11 – No Library Lab.

SENIORS:  Deadlines for the McDermoth Elementary Scholarship and the Evan Dilley Scholarship are Friday, May 9th.  Applications are available in the Guidance Center

 

SENIORS:  Grays Harbor Association of Realtors Scholarships -- Three (3) $1,200 scholarships are being awarded, this year, to seniors who qualify.  Applications are now available in the Guidance Center.  Pick up your application TODAY!
