WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO AFTER HIGH SCHOOL?

This can be a dreaded question by high school aged students.  Don't fret... There is help.  Visit these websites, complete some career inventories (these can be available through the counseling center), and talk to your  counselor.  We are here to help guide you through the decision making process, we have recourses available for you in the counseling center and will help you look for information.  Yes, there is life after AHS...

www.careersandcolleges.com  A great resource for researching information.  The counseling center receives these magazines often...Stop by and grab a copy!  (One of my personal favorites)

www.princetonreview.com/  This is The Princeton Review's web page.  This has information about careers, college, and the SAT.

www.petersons.com/  Another great web site! This page is full of college and test-prep information. 

www.bls.gov/oco/  Ever wonder about a career or job?  This is the place to start. The Occupational Outlook Handbook is a great tool for researching. (Another personal favorite)

www.postitt.org This website is designed for students with disabilities gain awareness about college.

www.washington.edu/doit/  This gives valuable information about careers for students with disabilities.

www.fofweb.com/subscription/default.asp This is a link to the Ferguson website, you can search careers, employability skills, and resources.  Click on the career guidance link (right hand of the page).  You will need a password for this site, ask a counselor or the library.
