1. Explain Karl Marx’s Communist philosophy as presented in class.
2. Make a PowerPoint presentation on their topic from the 1950s demonstrating proper public speaking skills.

Assignments:

Monday: Communism – The Philosophy

1. Student Notes: Communism: The Philosophy – Students will copy and discuss notes on Marx’s philosophy of communism from a presentation by the teacher.
2. Presentation Order – Students will sign up in order to make their PowerPoint presentations beginning Wednesday.

Tuesday: Communism – The Reality

Student Notes: Communism: The Reality – Students will copy and discuss notes presented by the teacher.

Wednesday/Thursday: PowerPoint Presentations

PowerPoint Presentations – Students will make their PowerPoint presentations on their topics from the 1950s.
