Course Description:
One year, .5 credit per semester - Math
Prerequisite: This course requires student to have an IEP.
This is a remedial class designed
to improve student’s ability to compute fractions, decimals, percents, and
ratios. Students will apply mathematical formulas to solve area, perimeter,
volume, square and cube problems. The metric system will also be explored. This
class may be repeated for credit.
Expected Classroom Behavior
Grading Criteria:
Tests - 40%
Quizzes – 10%
Final Exam – 10%
Class Work – 30 %
Journal – 10%

A = 93% - 100%
A- = 90% - 92.9%
B+ = 87% - 89.9%
B = 83% - 86.9%
B- = 80% - 82.9%
C+ = 77% - 77.9%
C = 73% - 76.9%
C- = 70% - 72.9%
D = 60% - 69.9%
F = 59.9 %and below
